Long Term Care Communities

Finding available nursing homes and assisted living facilities can be challenging. Below are some resources that may be helpful and we recommend reaching out to the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment for more information.

What is an Ombudsman?

And how can an Ombudsman help me?

People living in long-term care facilities, including nursing homes and assisted living facilities, occasionally need help with support and advocacy.

Ombudsmen are advocates for residents and are available to ensure your rights are respected, and wishes are met. They also provide information to you and your family regarding facilities, quality care, and are trained in problem resolution.

The Vintage Ombudsman Program is here to assist you! All matters are confidential unless you permit us to share your concerns.

Every state is required to have an Ombudsman Program that addresses complaints and advocates for improvements in the long-term care system. Find out more about the Colorado state office here: https://www.coombudsman.org/
