In-Home Care

Living at Home at any age

We can help you stay at home longer

For many older adults, living at home for as many years as possible is a priority. Most adults would prefer to age in place—that is, remain in their home of choice as long as possible. However, life at home sometimes becomes more challenging as aging or illness occurs.

Vintage provides several programs designed to support aging in place and keeping you in your home.

In-Home Services Program

The In-Home Services Program provides financial assistance to older adults in need of homemaker, personal care, or chore assistance to remain in their homes and to live independently. Homemaker assistance consists of meal preparation, shopping, light housework, money management, or using the telephone. Personal care assistance consists of bathing, dressing, walking, eating, and other personal care activities. Chore assistance consists of heavy housework, yard work, or sidewalk maintenance.

For more information about the In-Home Services Program, contact Ceci Peterson at 970-531-4087.

Home Delivered Meals

Ever want a healthy and warm meal delivered to your home?

At Vintage, we offer home-delivered meals that are prepared and delivered for eligible older adults age 60+. We believe no older adult should ever experience hunger, and we work with local providers to help older adults in Eagle, Grand, Jackson, Pitkin, Routt, and Summit Counties.

Home Weatherization

We live in a harsh climate in Colorado. The Energy Management Program weatherizes low- and moderate-income homes to reduce their fuel consumption and heating costs.

With this Program, we include services like:

  • insulation
  • caulking
  • weather-stripping
  • installation of storm windows
  • new energy-efficient furnaces and refrigerators

NWCCOG is a local administering agency under the Weatherization Assistance Program and is under contract to the Colorado Energy Office.

By reducing a household’s energy consumption and heating costs, families will have more income available to spend within their local communities.
