Honoring the Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. 🕊️

Today, we join the nation in commemorating the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. As a leader of the American civil rights movement, Dr. King taught us that progress is born from the principles of racial equality and the power of nonviolent social change.

From the Montgomery bus boycott in 1955 to receiving the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964, his journey was defined by courage and an unwavering belief in a more just world. While the first nationwide observance of this holiday didn't occur until 1986, his message remains as vital today as ever.

Take a moment today to reflect on his words: "The time is always right to do what is right." How are you choosing to honor his legacy today?
