Give Back to Our Community

Add purpose and meaning to your life

What fills your time and your heart? Do you want to share with others and give back to your community?

With Vintage, you have the opportunity to expand your daily life and utilize your skills professionally and personally to benefit the community. Volunteering can be an energizing and rewarding way to spend your time, regardless of your background or age.

Why Should You Volunteer?

People choose to volunteer for a variety of reasons. For some, it offers the chance to give something back to the community or make a difference to the people around them. For others, it provides an opportunity to develop new skills or build on existing experience and knowledge. Regardless of the motivation, what unites us all is that we find value in giving back.

Volunteer services are an essential part of Vintage. We are looking for committed individuals willing to serve their community. We offer rewarding volunteer opportunities right here in the mountain communities we know and love.

Volunteer Opportunities in the Region

Medicare Counselors

The State Health Insurance Program (SHIP) enables thousands of Colorado Medicare beneficiaries to receive quality, confidential counseling assistance. This helps them better understand their Medicare options and rights, make informed choices, and, crucially, save money.

Imagine – your assistance can mean the difference between someone affording or not affording their monthly medications, learning about health plans best suited to them, or saving enough money to see a grandchild for the first time. Without SHIP volunteers, our program could not exist, meaning thousands of Colorado Medicare beneficiaries could be left to navigate the Medicare system on their own each year, resulting in increased costs, lost opportunities, poor healthcare choices, and penalties. If you are interested in being a certified SHIP Medicare Counselor, fill out the application below and send it back to us.

The Regional Advisory Council (RAC)

RAC advocates for older adults and helps address issues of concern. It also encourages the development of a comprehensive system of services in the region. If you are interested in joining RAC, please fill out the application below and send it back to us.
